      Silvia Andretta

 

Silvia Andretta graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Padua in 2017, completing her thesis work at the Neurological Clinic of the University Hospital of Padua (thesis title: Molecular and clinical characterization of the CPEO patient cohort referring to the Neuromuscolar Center of the University of Padua). Registered in 2018 at the Neurology School of the University of Padua, studying the Movement Disorders with particular interest.


      Giulia Bonato

 

Giulia Bonato graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Padua in 2017, completing her thesis work at the Genetics and Clinical Epidemiology Unit of the University Hospital of Padua (thesis title: NF1 analisi mutazionale e correlazione genotipo-fenotipo). She attended the "Scuola di Eccellenza Pietro d’Abano" earning 60 extra ECTS. She received a scholarship of merit "Mille e una Lode" in 2017. Since 2018 she has been enrolled in the Neurology School of the University of Padua, studying the Movement Disorders with particular interest.

      Federica Garrì

 

Federica Garrì graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Padua in 2011, defending a thesis titled “Genetics of Hereditary Cushing Syndrome: analysis of genes involved in Pathway signaling cAMP/PKA”. She completed her training in General Medicine in 2015 defending the thesis “Polipharmacy in elderly patients: the prescribing cascade”. She worked as Medical Doctor in 2015 and 2016. She received the ECFMG Certification in 2016,  obtaining an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US where she worked as Visiting Doctor at the Northwestern University (Chicago, Illinois), the Albert Einstein Medical Center (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) and the Johns Hopkins Pituitary Center (Baltimore, Maryland). She is currently enrolled in the Neurology School of the University of Padua, studying the Movement Disorders with particular interest.

      Lisa Lerjefors

 

Lisa Lerjefors graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Padua in 2017, completing her thesis work at the Neurology Unit of the University Hospital of Padua (thesis title: "New Aspects in DMD: Role of Dystrophin in NETosis”). Since 2018 she has been enrolled in the Neurology School of the University of Padua, studying the Movement Disorders with particular interest.

      Michele Mainardi

 

Michele Mainardi graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Genoa, attending the Stroke Unit of the San Martino Hospital and defendin a thesis titled "Analisi del significato prognostico del dosaggio della cTnI in pazienti con ictus acuto". After completing his studies, he worked at the Muscular Diseases and Neuropediatric Unit of the Giannina Gaslini Institute, with attention to the genetical epileptic encephalopathies. He worked for multicentric clinical trials on the efficacy of the fenfluramine in Dravet Syndrome  (ZX008-1502) and of perampanel in Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (E2007-311). Coauthor of the journal paper From the ancient diets to the recent acquisition on the role of the brain inflammation in epilepsy Striano et al, Journal of Neurology & Neurophysiology (2014). Since 2017, he has been enrolled in the Neurology School of the University of Padua, studying the Movement Disorders with particular interest.
